Insekt is the sick brainchild of the Belgium EBM duo Mario Vaerewijck and Eric Van Wonterghem (who also works in Absolute Body Control, Monolith & Sonar). The band started its musical mission in 1989 and belonged to one of the first impulses of traditional Belgium Electronic Body Music. They did incorporate other styles but always stuck to a main electronic and nihilistic formula and agenda.
